แดเนียลล์ เบอร์แมน สาวชาวแคนนาดา จะทำการปั่นจักรยานเพื่อการกุศลRide Away Stigma ให้กับบิดาของเธอที่ได้ฆ่าตัวตายลงอย่างไม่คาดคิดเมื่อ15ปีที่แล้ว ขณะที่เธอกำลังศึกษาอยู่ในชั้นมัธยมต้น เหตุการ์ณครั้งนั้นทำให้เธอมีอาการซึมเศร้าและต้องเข้ารับการบำบัด และนั้นก็เป็นแรงส่งเสริมให้เธออยากเป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่จะช่วยรณรงค์เป็นที่ปรึกษาให้กับผู้ป่วย และช่วยหาเงินบริจากเข้าสู่มูลนิธิช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วยและมีอาการทางจิต
กำหนดการจะเริ่มปั่นจากVancouverในวันที่15/07/14 ถึงHamiltonในวันที่07/09/14 เป็นระยะทางประมาณ4,300โล โดยจะเรื่มต้นและจบทริปครั้งนี้ด้วยจักรยานคันเก่าแคนนอลเดลล์ปี1988 ที่บิดาของเธอซื้อมาฝึกซ้อมเพื่อการแข่งขันจักรยานWorld Master Game ที่ประเทศเดนมาร์ก
เมื่อเราได้รับรู้ถึงภารกิจและหัวใจอันแข็งแกร่งของเธอ เราจึงขอร่วมสนับสนุนกระเป๋าจักรยานรุ่นMaritareที่ออกแบบมาสำหรับสาวๆที่รักการปั่นจากVincita ให้ใช้เป็นอุปกรณ์เสริมจักรยานในการปั่นเพื่อการกุศลของเธอที่กำลังจะเกิดขึ้น^^
Danielle Berman from canada who have founded Ride Away Stigma cycling charity to honour her late father, who tragically died by suicide in 1999, when she was going into grade 8. Then she was struggling and depressed, she needed to see a therapist for treatment with medication and counselling. thru that is her mission to encourage open discussion on mental health and illness and help remove the associated stigma.
The begin of cycling start from Vancouver on 15/07/14 to Hamilton on 07/09/14, the average distance around 4,300 kilometer. She will be starting and ending her journey on her father’s Cannondale. Her father purchased this bicycle in 1988 to train and ride on for the World Masters Games, which were held in Denmark in 1989.
When we get to know her strong heart journal. we would join and support her with Vincita bike bags “Maritare” cycling bag for lady cyclists, as bikes accessories for her cycling charity that is going to happen soon.^^
